Welcome Awana Leader!

be like me and forget to do it!

Dave's Scratch Pad

Congratulations to those leaders who have met all three leadership requirements! It's not that difficult is it? Good job! Now, the rest of you that haven't met all the requirements, I hope you will do so ASAP. Bro. Gordon is wanting to have all of us to meet these requirements. If you have a passion for God, kids and Awana, you can do it!

REQUIREMENTS

We need to know ASAP which is more suitable for all to attend.

A lot of things are going well - "thank you leaders"...but there is room for improvement.

  • Please, if you can be at club early, make sure that our check-in is covered. We should share this duty and make club better for the kids and us. We have kids waiting at the door and no one (regularly) to greet and meet the parents. especially the new parents. First impressions are very important.

  • If we leaders have read our Awana role book, then we should know our responsibilities. Awana leadership is a calling from God, let's give our best for Him.

  • Leader prayer and planning meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month. Attendance is required. Beginning promptly at 7 PM, we will meet for one hour every month for prayer and planning, that we may have an effective and organized club.

Awana Orientation Training
Next training for this fall being planned

This training is for all present and potential Awana leaders.

Let's do our BEST to win these children for Christ!

Think of a child as a golden nugget, waiting to be dug up.

Let's be a 'gold miner' for GOD!
